Many different materials and design elements make this kitchen outstanding! In addition to the Crown Point Cabinetry, the stamped copper ceiling, antique hardware and period style range are a few accents that add character to this beautiful kitchen.

Custom appliance panels artfully disguise a Sub-Zero™ refrigerator and under counter freezer drawers. A tall cabinet enclosure surrounds the refrigerator and freezer drawers, seamlessly incorporating appliances into the cabinetry. To the left of the Sub-Zero™, a slender pantry cabinet makes use of valuable storage space from floor to ceiling.

Easily accessible custom rollout drawers were built to accommodate the homeowner's specific needs, such as a large canister for Jonathan's food. (Remember the crow?)An extending mid-rail cutting board is located above the drawers. This sturdy work surface is ideal for both food preparation and as a landing area for hot food, fresh out of the microwave. A retractable, flip up door above the cutting board hides the microwave when it is not in use.

In the pantry, the upper cabinetry showcases period style frosted, reeded glass. Beyond its beauty, this glass is useful in concealing items you do not wish to display. (No one has to know if you occasionally make brownies from a box!)
The lower cabinetry was built flush to the floor and finished with a shoe moulding, a nice, simple detail reminiscent of turn of the century kitchens.
To the left of this pantry arrangement sits a smaller cabinet, reduced in height to provide visual interest and to attractively conceal water and utility connections.

In the laundry area, the cabinetry is at a reduced height, incorporating a matching, painted crown moulding.A farmhouse sink is set into the cabinetry with pigeonhole drawers on either side, maximizing even the smallest spaces.
A graceful toekick was added to the sink cabinet as a furniture detail.
