Farmhouse Overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee
Each month we showcase one of our latest kitchens, keeping you up to date with what's new in kitchen design.

This expansive 19th Century farmhouse sat empty and crumbling for years until a family discovered it and decided to renovate it for use as a vacation home. They stripped the dilapidated interior, leaving the original beams but replacing the worn out floor with wide plank pine boards. For the kitchen area, the family wanted cabinetry that contributed to the old farmhouse feel, but still allowed for modern conveniences. The result is a beautiful kitchen with Victorian details and abundant counter space.

The homeowners have created a unique theme for this already interesting kitchen. Years ago, they came upon an injured crow and nurtured him back to health. Unfortunately, he could not be released into the wild. Fortunately, they named him Jonathan and kept him as a family pet! If you look closely, you'll see a number of crow themed accents, from hand painted tiles to life-sized figurines.
