Cabinetry for the other rooms in the house include a dining nook (first image), a dining room pantry (second image), a media center (third and fourth images), and lastly, a mantle.

The dining nook is actually on the opposite side of the house as the dining room, and is just off the kitchen. Finished in the same color Classic Paint as the kitchen (Mountain Mist), the built-in features four apothecary-style drawers set back over a 56" base cabinet.

The hutch (actually a pair, spaced apart by the french entry doors) was built and primed by Crown Point, and painted jobsite. The 36" cabinet sits under an open shelf section with a beadboard back, and the toekick treatment helps create a look of stand-alone furniture.

The media center is a built-in also crafted and primed by Crown Point and painted jobsite. The sizable storage area measures 104" in height and 50" wide overall. Housed in the upper section is the flat screen television (see fourth image) and DVD collection. Other electronic components are stored behind the lower doors, and the four drawers allow for plenty of additional storage.

Our final image is a mantle, just to the right of the media center. Designed in collaboration with the architect, the piece plays counterpoint to the beautiful stonework all the while appearing to defy gravity.
