A delightful Crown Point kitchen is featured in the Fall Issue of Small Kitchen Magazine!

Cabinetry in the kitchen is bright and inviting, hand painted in Farrow & Ball’s Wimborne White.  The homeowners worked with their builder and their Crown Point Designer to incorporate existing appliances into the new design.  In fact, based on the homeowners’ wishes, we built the custom island to fit the existing top.

Previously empty, the opposite wall now features cabinetry built floor to ceiling with wine storage, counter space, display shelving and a small sink; perfect for entertaining!

Cabinetry in this Darien, Connecticut kitchen was handcrafted from Flat Sawn French Oak and finished in Oceanside, a wash that was custom created for this kitchen.

Located on the water in East Otis, MA, the featured kitchen is a bright, open Craftsman design with authentic details from our Arts & Crafts Designer Series.

What makes this kitchen noteworthy, is that the cabinetry is crafted from Cherry, rather than your usual Quartersawn Oak used in most Craftsman designs.  Here, the warmth of cherry creates a wonderfully warm and inviting place to cook, gather, and simply relax!

A beautiful Arts & Crafts Crown Point kitchen is featured in the latest issue of Kitchens & Baths Magazine! With six pages of photographs, plus commentary from Crown Point designer Lois Horan, readers learn how to achieve an impressive Arts & Crafts look while making the most of a small space.

Lois listened carefully to the client’s needs, adding stylish Craftsman details to handsome, highly functional Quartersawn Oak cabinetry. “I wanted to create a beautiful kitchen using every last inch for added storage,” said Lois. “Now that its finished, everything has its place, and the family couldn’t be happier with their kitchen.”

To ensure a place for everything, Lois incorporated several storage solutions. For example, extra deep drawers and roll out can storage in the banquette were essential in keeping the family organized.
