4 photos: The vintage look of Quartersawn White Oak is quite unmistakable. The striated grain, the "glow" of the ray-flake; no wonder it's a popular choice with our clients! This particular base cabinet is part of a three-cabinet island and features a cutting board in the drawer, and pull-out recycling center.

Our second image shows the top drawer open, and the cutting board fitting proper. Note the locking slides that latch into place when the drawer is fully extended. (Rapid slicing and a moving drawer is a bad combination!)

We remove the cutting board and place it nearby in our third image. As you can see there is available storage under the cutting board if you wish to use it. Note also the runners under the cutting board; those help keep the cutting board centered and in place.

Our last image brings a view of the opened double basket recycling center. Locating it under a cutting board makes perfect sense. Especially if you have someone who is, shall we say, not as careful as you are when chopping veggies!
